Brief Bio

Lovebird is a new band on the Ventura circuit that is not to be missed, and with just a few shows under the belt, its exceptionally well-crafted guitar melodies and the velvety, hypnotic vocals of Nicole Eva Emery create a sound that already has all who listen lovestruck. During the Summer of 2008, Lovebird started as a recording project between Nicole Eva Emery and Mike Gleeson. The duo quickly recruited drummer Brian Granillo to help define their sound. They recorded a 5 song demo at the end of '08 , but soon after decided to officially release the recording on Blackbird Records. Lovebird plans to go back into the studio with Armand John Anthony in May '09 to complete the album.
In February '09, Ashley Heatherly joined Lovebird on bass, keyboards and backing vocals, and in May '09, Josh Hayes joined the band on guitar to help complete the live Lovebird sound.
